As most of you know, this ministry is supported entirely by love offerings from individuals who believe in what we?re doing and want to be part of it. In fact, many of you reading this now give sacrificially each and every month, for the well being of these kids God has entrusted to us. As you can imagine, it is not cheap to support 40 children, 34 of which are under the age of five! We also feed our entire staff during their shift (there is no McDonald?s for them to run to for a bite!) But God meets our needs one dollar at a time. Do you know that a donation as small as $5 treats a child for malaria! If you give $35 per month, you have provided diapers for one whole day per month! $60 covers all our groceries for a day, which includes feeding our entire staff. (And, if we do say so ourselves, we have so far been able to provide a balanced diet which far exceeds any school, home, hospital, etc. which we have seen!) All that cooking uses a lot of firewood and cooking gas. A gift of $8 covers this for a day. You have a heart for the small babies? How about $18 per month to provide one day of formula. I could go on, but I think you?re getting the point.

Maybe there is someone reading this who can?t give financially, but would be willing to look for people who can. If we found 31 people to give $35 per month, our diapers would be completely paid for. Another way you can help is to forward this newsletter each week to others on your mailing list who you think might be interested in what we?re doing. Maybe you would like to head up a fund raiser to raise $1200 to protect a spring and provide clean water for about 400 people.

Of course, the very best way you can help us is to pray! Pray that God gives us wisdom as we accept the challenge of raising these kids to know Him and make a difference in his kingdom! Pray that He will send just the right team of staff members to love and care for these kids. Pray that He, with his unlimited resources, would continue to provide for our day to day needs as well as for the growth of the ministry. Ask Him to protect us from the violence that is becoming more and more prevalent in this society. God is good all the time! And all the time God is good! He hears our prayers!
