Carla is back in Kenya!
Carla has heard nothing but wonderful things about the group that was in Kenya while she was in the States: smoke stacks, Kitchen house & happy cooks!
The new school year has begun and the kids have new classrooms to study in!
We have a dream of opening a primary school in the next few years.
We hired a certified Early Childhood Development (preschool) teacher and she is wonderful!
Many of you already know that a very special church in Mt. Vernon did some major fund-raising over the holiday season and raised enough for us to begin building a medical clinic!
We also want to thank In Step Church for their Christmas tree ornament fund-raiser which provided us a playground!
Our field workers were recently trained in Boi-Intensive Farming and we're already reaping the rewards!
We have been enjoying having lots of visitors!
Bible Study groups are starting up again!
A few weeks ago, child #75 joined us. Her name is Wanjiku (a Kikuyu name) and she is adorable!

Jeff's spider bite is improving.
We go back to court next week, for Sarah's custody.
The swings and monkey bars are awesome!
The calendar is filling up with teams!
Paul gave us a scare!
The verandah is coming to life!
We had a great time with the NLGH team!
Of course, it?s always great to have Ron and Joyce here!
We will probably break ground next week for the meical clinic!
A lovely young woman named Melissa came with the Panzeros this time.

My newsletters are now going to be a monthly thing?
We are still in the beginning stages of building the clinic.
Jeff has been researching incinerators (a requirement for the clinic).
Grant and Andrea have agreed to come partner with us full time!
We are beginning to build a boys' bunk house.
Another thing that hasn't changes in the past month is the situation with Sarah.
We have been working hard at getting all our paperwork in order to provide our workers with Social Security and National Health Insurance.
We are expanding the bio-intensive farming.
We have a family team coming this summer that is planning to build a food dehydrator!
We have a new baby! A beautiful girl, appropriately named Angel!
Darin is doing well.
Easter in Kenya is different than in America.
We are really enjoying building friendships with the missionary community!

It's rainy season in Kenya!
We finally got a new vehicle! and are now in the market for a 10 ton lorry.
Things aren?t moving along as well for taking James to America for surgery as we had hoped.
One of our kids, Anne, has gone to live with her grandparents.
Also, baby Angel ... has gone to live with a foster family!
Yesterday we picked up two baby girls: Meredith Laini & Gloria Neema.

Carla is back in Kenya after a visit in the States.
Carla's nephew Brian is coming to sponsor a spring protection project.
Since my last letter, three new kids have come to join us at the home: Baby Sean, Mike & Izabella. That brings us to 81 kids! What an honor it is!
Carla comments on what their limit is for accepting children & Kenyan adoption policy.

Our daughter, Sarah, has joined the ministry in a unique way! She is hosting gatherings in people’s homes in Washington State.
